I’m Robin Silverman, a Registered Social Worker (BSW, MSW, RSW) with over 20 years of experience supporting individuals through life’s many challenges. I provide one-on-one counselling online via secure video, or over the phone, offering you comfort, flexibility, and confidentiality from your own home.
My work is rooted in a trauma-informed, client-centered approach. You set the goals, and I help you move toward them with care and without judgment.
I offer therapy on evenings and weekends, as well as sliding scale fees for those in need. My standard rate is $150 per 50-minute session.
I offer support to people throughout Ontario, including those in Toronto and the GTA, Ottawa, London, Barrie, Kingston, and rural or remote communities.
I acknowledge the importance of language and space in all cultures.
The Gathering Counselling is named to reflect a welcoming and inclusive environment for healing and connection. It also honours my dear friend and fellow advocate, Cree author and playwright Larry Loyie, and his constant supporter and fellow traveller, Constance Brissenden, to whom I dedicate my practice. I bring empathy, honesty, and over two decades of experience to every session. Our work together will be grounded in respect and the deep care I take with my clients.
I offer a free 30-minute consultation to help you decide if I’m the right fit. I am allied with seniors, 2SLGBTQ+ individuals, racialized communities, and people with disabilities.
